Now, let’s dive into this sweet and creamy adventure! Red Berry Tiramisu Trifle Recipe
Ingredients: Red Berry Tiramisu Trifle Recipe
- 1 packet of ladyfingers
- 375 ml whipping cream
- 100 g strawberry jelly powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 2 cups mixed red berries (strawberries, raspberries, or any of your favorites)
- 2 tbsp icing sugar (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions: Red Berry Tiramisu Trifle Recipe
- Prep the Berries 🍓:
Slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Set aside. In a small pot, dissolve the strawberry jelly powder into hot water and mix well until the jelly is fully dissolved. Pour it into a bowl and let it cool to room temperature. - Whip the Cream 🍶:
In a large bowl, whip the 375 ml of cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until well combined. This creamy mixture will be the heart of your trifle, so make sure it’s smooth and luscious. - Prepare the Milk Mix 🥛:
In another bowl, mix 1/2 cup of milk with a bit of the leftover strawberry jelly mixture (cooled). This will be used to soak the ladyfingers for extra flavor! - Layer the Trifle 🏗️:
Now comes the fun part—layering! Start by soaking the ladyfingers in the milk mixture for just a few seconds (don’t let them get too soggy).
- First layer: Place the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your trifle bowl or individual cups.
- Second layer: Add a generous layer of the mascarpone cream on top.
- Third layer: Pour a little of the cooled strawberry jelly over the cream. Then, add some of your sliced strawberries and other red berries.
Repeat these layers until you reach the top of your dish, making sure the final layer is the mascarpone cream.
- Finishing Touches ✨:
Once your trifle is fully layered, sprinkle icing sugar over the top for a sweet, decorative finish. Add a few mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness. - Chill & Serve ❄️:
Let the trifle chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. This helps the flavors meld together beautifully. When you’re ready, serve to your family and friends, and get ready for the compliments to roll in!
A Little Tip from Me 💡:
This dessert is all about making your life easier while still impressing everyone. You can make it a day ahead and store it in the fridge, which means less stress when entertaining guests! Plus, the flavors only get better with time. 😉
