Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 150g sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 280g plain flour

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • 120ml pineapple juice

  • a pinch of salt

  • 1 cup canned pineapple pieces

  • 6-7 pineapple slices(canned)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
