  • 500g lamb or mutton pasanday

  • half cup cooking oil

  • 1 cup chopped onion

  • 1 tbsp garlic paste

  • 1 cup tomato puree

  • 1-1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp garam masala powder

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 3 tbsp yogurt

  • fresh coriander for garnish

  • 1 cup capsicam

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil!!


  • In a pan, heat oil and fry onions till golden brown.
  • Add garlic paste and fry for another minute.
  • Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add lamb or mutton pasanday and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garam masala powder, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  • Add sliced capsicum and yogurt, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
