  • -2 tbsp almond powder

  • -5 tbsp desiccated coconut

  • Dates as required ( mabroom or majdool )

  • -5 tbsp condensed milk

  • -200g milk chocolate

  • -250g white chocolate

  • -2 tbsp olive oil

  • -1 tsp green food color

  • chocolate chunks for decoration ( optional )


  • Slice the dates lengthwise and remove the pits.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut and condensed milk. Mix well until the mixture is evenly moistened.
  • Spoon the coconut mixture into each date and press the halves back together.
  • Melt the chocolate in microwave for 1 minute and add olive oil , stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each stuffed date in the melted chocolate, using a fork to shake off any excess chocolate.
  • Place the coated dates on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
