  • 1.5 kg chicken, cut into pieces

  • 3 cups boiled rice (boiled with 1 tbsp salt)

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 1 cup fried onions

  • 1 tbsp biryani masala

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 5-6 tbsp cooking oil

  • 2 tbsp mint leaves

  • 3 tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp yellow food color

  • For Garnish:
  • Fresh coriander leaves

  • Mint leaves

  • Green chillies

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • In a large pot, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  • Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pot and sautΓ© for a minute until fragrant.
  • Now, add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until they are lightly browned on all sides.
